The main ingredient of this product is cimetidine, chemical name: 1-methyl-2-cyano-3-[2-II(5-methylimidazol-4-yl)methyl]thio]ethyl]guanidine.

1. Nature 
Cimetidine injection is a colorless, clear liquid.

2.Dosage
Intravenous infusion: 0.2g of this product should be diluted with 5% dextrose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection or dextrose sodium chloride injection (250-500ml) and then injected intravenously at the rate of l~4mg/kg per hour, each time 0.2~0.6g. Intravenous injection: diluted with 20ml of the above solution and then injected intravenously slowly (2-3 minutes), once every 6 hours, each time 0.2g. Intra-venous injection: once every 6 hours 0.2g. Intramuscular injection: 0.2g per dose, once every 6 hours.

3.Cautions :
1). Should not be used in acute pancreatitis.
2). Renal function and blood count should be checked during the administration of the drug.
3). Concomitant use with central anticholinergics should be avoided to prevent aggravation of central nervous system toxicity.
4). Caffeine and caffeine-containing beverages should be avoided when using this product.
5). Abrupt discontinuation of the drug may lead to perforation of chronic peptic ulcers, presumably due to the high acidity of the rebound after discontinuation. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to take the drug (400mg per night) for 3 months after completion of treatment.
6). Interference with diagnosis: False-positive occult blood test of gastric juice; increased blood salicylic acid concentration, blood creatinine, prolactin and aminotransferase concentration; decreased parathyroid hormone concentration.
7). The following conditions should be used with caution: (1) severe heart and respiratory disorders; patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency should be used with caution. (2) Chronic inflammatory diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), cimetidine myelotoxicity may be increased. (3) Organic encephalopathy . (4) Renal impairment (moderate or severe).
8). In case of discoloration, crystallization, muddy oil, foreign matter should be prohibited.
