Acetaminophen Injection, indicated for use in fever, is also used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, muscle pain, and joint pain, as well as neuralgia, dysmenorrhea, cancer pain, and post-surgical pain relief. This product can be used in patients who are allergic or intolerant to aspirin. This product is not effective for all kinds of severe pain and visceral smooth muscle colic.

Cautions :

(1) In ethanol intoxication, liver disease or viral hepatitis, there is an increased risk of hepatotoxic effects;
(2) Renal insufficiency, although it can be used occasionally, there is a danger of increasing nephrotoxicity if applied for a long time.
(3) Blood and liver function should be checked regularly during long-term treatment.
4. Interference with laboratory tests:
(1) Blood glucose measurement, the application of glucose oxidase method of measurement can be obtained false low value, while the use of hexokinase / 6-phosphate dehydrogenase method of measurement is not affected;
(2) Serum uric acid measurement, which gives falsely high values when the phosphotungstic acid method is applied;
(3) Urinary 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), the application of nitrosonaphthol reagent for qualitative screening test can be false-positive results, quantitative test is not affected.
