Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic. It is effective against streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic Streptococcus and other streptococci, Staphylococcus penicillinase, Enterococcus faecalis and other aerobic gram-positive bacteria. Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoea and other aerobic gram-negative strains of β-lactamase and Helicobacter pylori have good antibacterial activity. Amoxicillin plays a bactericidal role by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, which can make bacteria dissolve and rupture quickly into spheroids.

Cautions :
1. Penicillin oral drugs can occasionally cause anaphylactic shock, especially in patients with a history of penicillin or cephalosporin allergy. Prior to medication, you must ask for a history of drug allergy and perform a skin test for penicillin. In case of anaphylactic shock, immediate rescue should be carried out, airway obstruction should be maintained, oxygen inhalation and epinephrine, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures should be applied.
